12 YEAR OLD TEAM PROGRAM 2009-2010
Introduction: The Diamond Hawks 12 year old team program is designed to teach the fundamentals of baseball through a process of weekly winter workouts and practices, league and tournament play. Our focus at this age is to have our professional staff, lead by our Director of Player Development Mike Koerner, teaching baseball skills as well as educating our young athletes on their mental approach to the game.
What We Provide: Included in the cost is professional instruction; team insurance; league fees; tournament fees; umpire fees; uniforms (hat, shirt, pants, socks) and baseballs. Our teams will workout this winter in our new 11,650 sq. ft. indoor training facility located in Hammonton, NJ which includes, an all turf practice field, batting cages, and pitching tunnels. In addition to our indoor facility, our teams will enjoy their own outdoor practice field for all age groups, adjacent to our indoor facility.
Instructional workouts are weekly beginning in January 2010 through April 2010 and are conducted by Diamond Hawks staff along with the team’s coach.
The team will participate in the Tri-State Elite Baseball League starting in April/May 2010 playing in approximately 20 league games. In addition the team will be entered in 4 tournaments. A total of approximately 40 games are anticipated.
Velocity Sports Performance: A baseball specific speed and agility program designed Mike Koerner, and Velocity will be featured every Tuesday and Thursday evenings at our Hammonton site. This fee based program was outlined exclusively for our Diamond Hawks Teams.
Conclusion: At 12 years old we feel that the most important aspect of Diamond Hawks Baseball is the professional instruction your son will receive. It is our goal to help him have fun while learning the game properly and providing the necessary tools to follow his dream.
Costs: The registration fee is $1,295 per player and may be paid in installments as follows:
